Playing Catch-up: “Metro:2033”

Right now a new console is out of my reach financially, and that’s fine, I’d rather wait before jumping on the next gen bandwagon anyway. It’s given me a chance to catch up on any games I’ve missed over the last few years.

I confess; I obsess.

Why Lara Croft is so important (to me)

I would like to start this post off with a letter that I wrote to Big Time magazine when I was a kid.

It’s a bit fuzzy, but here’s what it says: “Dear Big Time, when I’m older I want to be an archaeologist like Lara Croft – she’s the best!

Mass Effect…

Let’s just start with this: Mass Effect is possibly one of my favourite game series of all time. But I haven’t finished it.

Somehow, for the last year and a bit I have successfully managed to avoid anything to do with it’s ending. And I mean anything. Even with all the publicity and and controversy over said ending, I have resisted temptation; avoided articles, videos, looked like an idiot while plugging my ears whist friends talk about it. I do not know how this series ends.
